Carol Anne Grayson Introduction

Carol Anne Grayson is a British writer/researcher and human rights campaigner. She was born on 23rd December 1959.



She is  a mother, widow and a victim of US "collateral damage" who lost her husband, brother in law and over 2,000 of her haemophilia community to contaminated blood, "the worst medical treatment disaster in the history of the NHS".

Carol was awarded the Economic and Social Research Council Michael Young award 2009 for her research on the politics of the global blood trade. She also received a Human Rights Action = Life award in Washington DC which "recognizes and salutes her courage, perseverance and commitment to the truth as well as her continuing dedication and loyalty to the Global Haemophilia Community".

Carol is also a qualified psychiatric nurse and health educator with a teaching certificate and a specialist qualification in addictions counselling. She has a masters degree in Gender, Culture and Development (Distinction) and is also Executive producer of Oscar nominated documentary Incident in New Baghdad.

She is currently working on a multi-media anti-drones project, filming "The Approximate Target" and is a long standing anti-war activist and campaigner for gender justice. She supports freedom for the Palestinian people. Carol has travelled to over 50 countries and has many years experience of volunteering abroad on a variety of projects.

She also uses Social media regularly to raise voice against injustice around the world.
