Dr Israr Ahmed late was born in 1932 In India's city Hisar but at time of partition his family migrated to Pakistan. Dr Israr done his MBBS from King Edward Medical University of Lahore and later on started his practice.
He was a active member of Islami Jamiat Talba during student life and later on joined Jamaat E Islami. That time he also left working as a Doctor and decided to serve Islam. in 1975 he made his own organization Tanzeem Islami by leaving Jamaat E Islami whose main purpose was to establish Khilafat In Pakistan.
Dr Israr was a great Mufassir of Quran and was known for his knowledgeable Islamic lectures. His program aired on many TV channels like Peace TV and Q TV.
He passed away on 14 April 2010 at age of 78 years.
